The Appalachee Baptist Association is proud to work with other churches in bringing the Festival of Hope Northeast Georgia to Monroe. Join us September 20th through the 23rd as churches from Oconee, Walton, Barrow, Clark, and Newton Counties come together to bring hope to our area.

  The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has agreed to partner with us and is sending Doug Elks to preach each night. Doug is a 27-year-old former college basketball player, who recently was called by BGEA and is the backup evangelist at all crusades worldwide for both Franklin and Will Graham.

Two American Idol Artists Are Joining Us!

Monday, September 21st, Jordan McCullough, the American Idol 2026 runner-up. Jordan has inspired audiences across the country through his appearances on American Idol, The Voice, and the Grand Ole Opry. He currently serves as Worship Leader at Zeal Church in Nashville, and we are excited to welcome him to Festival of Hope.

Wednesday, September 23rd, Jamal Roberts, winner of American Idol 2025. Jamal won American Idol with a record-breaking 26 million votes. Since then, his music has topped the Billboard gospel charts, earned a Grammy nomination, and reached millions of listeners around the world. Before his national success, Jamal served as a P.E. coach in Meridian, Mississippi. His testimony of faith and God’s faithfulness is just as powerful as his incredible voice.

These two gifted artists will help us reach people who may never have attended a crusade but desperately need to hear the gospel.
