A team of 18 from our Appalachee churches traveled to Corbin, KY, the week of June 20-25 to lead Vacation Bible School at Level Green Missionary Baptist Church. The wonderful folks at Level Green welcomed us warmly and we had a great time through the week. On high attendance day we had 45 children and youth and 29 adults. Our team did a great job with the Submerged Curriculum leading the children and youth to know that God Sees us, God Knows Us and God Loves Us! This trip is part of our partnership with South Union Mt. Zion Baptist Association located in Williamsburg, KY. our hope is that we can serve well in meeting needs in this area as we parner with the association and with local churches in the area.
